The 6th Annual Pocono Mountains Film Festival  A 4 day event located in the beautiful Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania held in August 6th,7th,8th,9th, 2008 at The Mount Airy Casino & Resort       The Festival will showcase feature length documentaries and short films that represent some of the best independent cinema from around the world. There will be three days of screenings and special events culminated with the Festival Awards Ceremony and Banquet Dinner held on Saturday August 9th 2008 at the beautiful  Mount Airy Casino & Resort.  Awards will be presented to the best independent filmmakers from all over the world. The Pocono Mountains Film Festival will acknowledge selected individuals for the following awards for their contributions to our culture and society.
