About Our Founder
Bridget O. Davis is a registered ER nurse, a member of the Brown Girl Book Club, and a published author who has written three books. She founded The Pocono Mountains Film Festival when she could not find a place to pitch the screenplay she had written for one of her books.
By creating this innovative showcase, she was able to secure the talents of Billy Dee Williams to open her independent film, "Henry's Heart". For a woman that grew up in the projects of Harlem after the Vietnam War, this was a major accomplishment.
Now, she wants to help other creative people realize their dreams. Her goal is to share indie films and screenplays from little-known directors, filmmakers, and writers. She also wants to give people the chance to mingle with celebrities on the red carpet.
